Foreign-Origin Coffee Research: What Belongs in OCC and What Does Not

OCC is building authority around Cambodian coffee and Fine Robusta. That does not require pretending to be a supplier of coffee from every origin.

This page replaces a former unsupported foreign-origin supplier profile and defines how comparative origin research should be used inside the OCC corpus.

Foreign-origin content must have a Cambodia purpose

A page about Ethiopia, Indonesia, Uganda, Brazil or another origin should answer a comparison or buyer-learning question that helps readers understand Cambodia more accurately.

It should not present OCC as the producer, exporter or commercial representative of an unrelated origin.

Acceptable uses

Foreign-origin research can help explain:

• how established origins document traceability;
• different Canephora quality systems;
• processing approaches;
• buyer expectations;
• logistics or compliance frameworks when accurately sourced;
• what Cambodia can learn without copying another origin’s identity.

Unacceptable uses

OCC should not publish fabricated cooperatives, supplier volumes, farm counts, certifications, client lists, price premiums or “case studies” presented as real events.

Comparison needs matched dimensions

When comparing origins, use the same dimensions: species, region, harvest, process, physical evidence, sensory evidence, traceability and commercial terms.

Cambodia remains the destination

A comparison page should ultimately route readers back to Cambodia Coffee, Mondulkiri, Fine Robusta, supplier evaluation or another registered OCC Owner.

Commercial boundary

OCC’s commercial supplier route is Cambodia-origin coffee. Foreign-origin education should not point readers toward an invented foreign supplier offer.
