Process-forward Fine Robusta can be aromatic, dense, sweet, bitter, tart, or intensely fruit-referential—sometimes in the same cup. The fastest route to a useful brew is not to design a recipe around the word “co-ferment.” Start from the roasted coffee in front of you, control the variables you can measure, and change one at a time.
Brewing cannot reveal whether fruit, cultures, extracts, or flavor preparations were used. That is a disclosure question. Brewing can reveal how a particular coffee responds to extraction and whether its intense character becomes coherent, harsh, hollow, or muted.
