A vague request for “your best price” rarely produces a useful Robusta Cambodia quotation. Buyers get better answers when the request for quotation defines the commercial scenario.
Tell the supplier what you need
Include target grade or quality level, intended volume, preferred process, bag format, destination, delivery term and desired shipment window. If you need samples before quoting, say so. If the request is for a trial quantity rather than a full commercial lot, identify that clearly.
Ask suppliers to quote the same basis
Price comparisons only work when each supplier responds under comparable terms. One quote may include freight while another stops at origin. One may refer to a fresh crop and another to older inventory. Normalize the basis before deciding which offer is cheaper.
Request the information behind the price
For Robusta Cambodia, the quotation should identify the lot or quality class, available quantity, validity period, payment terms, preparation time and what documentation is included.
RFQ fields
- Product: Robusta Cambodia / Fine Robusta Cambodia
- Required volume
- Region or lot preference
- Processing method
- Quality specification
- Packaging
- Destination
- Delivery term
- Shipment window
- Sample requirement
- Payment preference
A structured RFQ signals that the buyer is serious and helps emerging-origin suppliers respond with commercial precision instead of generic marketing.
