For international growth, importers and roasters are usually the highest-leverage first targets. Cafés matter later because they often buy roasted coffee rather than green coffee directly.
The best early markets are likely to be places with active specialty roasters, established green-coffee importers and openness to experimental Robusta—not simply the largest coffee-consuming countries.

For an emerging origin, Cambodia’s domestic market may be strategically more important in the near term because it offers immediate demand while export-quality systems are still developing.
